This feature allows you to take a manual list of options added to a Blueprint template and instantly convert it into a reusable data source. This saves time and ensures consistency by letting you manage your option values from a single, centralised location.

Prerequisites:

• Your store must be on the Core, Premier, or Ultimate plan.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Open the Blueprint app from your Shopify Admin.

2. Navigate to Templates.

3. Click to open the template of your choosing.

4. Scroll down to the Product Options section.

5. Click on the specific option that you would like to convert.

6. Under the list of option values, click the Create Data Source from Option Values button.

7. Enter a name for the data source and click Create data source.

This conversion option is only available on field types that use predefined set values, such as dropdowns, checkboxes, and radio buttons.

Verification / Next Steps:

Once complete, the template will automatically switch to using the newly created data source instead of your manual list.

To edit or add values to this list in the future, simply navigate to the Data Sources page within the app. Your new source will be visible and manageable there, marked with the unique source type of Saved option values.
